  • The focus of research in my group is on the therapeutic induction of regulatory T cells for the improved treatment of human asthmatic disease, including steroid refractory asthma. Parallel studies are currently investigating the role of vitamin D and other nuclear receptor family members in regulatory T cell induction and maintenance, as well as its broader role in the maintenance of respiratory health.
