Centre in Allergic Mechanisms of Asthma at the Imperial Science Festival 2018

The Imperial Science Festival is an annual event that brings members of the public into the university to learn more about the scientific research that is undertaken across all departments.

In the 2018 Festival, the MRC-Asthma UK Centre in Allergic Mechanisms of Asthma had a stall where we used interactive models to explain the basics of asthma, and how the research at the Centre investigates the role of viruses and allergens in causing asthma attacks.

The 2018 Imperial Science Festival had nearly 20,000 people register for the event, with more people finding the event over the weekend - it was a very busy two days!
