Centre students running the London Marathon on 13th April

MRC & Asthma UK Centre PhD students Beth Mann and Timothy Recaldin are running the London Marathon in April.

They have both decided to run for Asthma UK Charity. Here is what Beth had to say:

"Running a marathon is a considerable challenge (much more so than I anticipated!), so I am keen to raise over as much money as possible for charity. I have chosen to run for Asthma UK because the condition is obviously central to my PhD studies and I have asthma. As I'm sure you are aware, Asthma UK is a charity that funds critical research and campaigning in addition to supporting sufferers, families and health care professionals."
